The Town of Barnstable seeks a vibrant, intergenerational community with diverse and attractive year round housing choices. To realize this vision, the Community Development staff is dedicated to encouraging and facilitating the production of new housing and the preservation of existing affordable housing throughout the seven villages.

 

Barnstable has a number of local strategies in place to foster the creation of additional housing options and actively collaborates with other local, State and Federal agencies with similar goals.
